Jennifer Brough (she/they) is a disabled, slow writer and workshop facilitator based in Nottingham.
She writes poetry and short stories exploring the body, pain, and horror using a magical, surrealist lens. She is currently writing her first poetry pamphlet, Occult Pain. She is also a reviewer.
Jennifer also began resting up collective, an interdisciplinary sick group of artists that offers workshops on rest and creativity.
She was shortlisted for the Disabled Poets Prize's Best Single Poem 2023 and was Birmingham's Young Poet Laureate from 2006-2007.
